Interoperability lead for NHS Supply Chain joins leading Peppol Provider NetEDI

Steve Moore
Head of Healthcare Industry Development
After 27 years working within NHS Supply Chain (NHSSC) with the past 5 years spent as the Interoperability lead, Steve Moore has joined the UK’s leading Peppol provider NetEDI as Head of Healthcare Industry Development.
Although the location of Steve’s desk has changed his focus will primarily stay the same – leading the adoption of interoperability, including the adoption of Peppol, within the NHS.
The addition of Steve to the NetEDI team ensures his years of experience and thought leadership can remain within the healthcare sector, providing our customers and the wider industry with invaluable knowledge on how best to realise the benefits of interoperability. Steve will also ensure we stay ahead of the curve in the E-procurement space, as well as accelerate the adoption of Peppol within the NHS purchase-to-pay systems.
Steve says: “As a customer of NetEDI I was very impressed with their business ethos and customer first focus, but mainly with their ability to provide a Peppol compliant interoperable trading platform which meets the needs of the industry. I’m excited to now be a part of the friendly, agile and growing team at NetEDI.”
“There’s a really driven atmosphere in the office and I’m looking forward to getting out there and continuing to drive the benefits of interoperability in the NHS.”
Andrew Stinchcombe-Gillies (MD Cegedim e-business UK&I) says: “As the former lead on interoperability and the GS1 and Peppol projects for NHS Supply Chain, Steve Moore’s experience supported by Cegedim and NetEDI’s extensive European healthcare knowledge provides a unique opportunity for us to assist the industry in achieving its interoperability goals.
“We know achievement of these goals will enable a multitude of benefits which will positively impact front line patient care.”
Steve will be providing regular NHS specific and Healthcare Industry updates, if you’d like to keep up with these, please sign up to our newsletter below:
