Feb 16, 2017 – NHS Supply Chain has selected NetEDI’s PEPPOL Managed Service to help suppliers meet the Department of Health’s Scan4Safety requirements and transact their business data electronically. NetEDI provide a web-based software platform that enables you to exchange data seamlessly using the PEPPOL messaging standards.
NHS Supply Chain has committed to supporting the implementation of the Department of Health’s Scan4Safety strategy which aims to contribute to improved patient care and generate significant financial savings for NHS providers through the wider use of solutions driven by global standards.
PEPPOL (Pan-European Public Procurement Online) is an integral part of the NHS’ Scan4Safety strategy. PEPPOL messaging standards are being established throughout the NHS, which has enabled simplified and standardised connections between trusts and suppliers. Its main purpose is to allow for the transfer of electronic business documents, including Orders, Invoices and Credit Notes, across a wide interoperable network.
NetEDI is providing NHS Supply Chain with a fully managed end-to-end integration service containing PEPPOL messaging standards, Access Point and Communications for all of their Customers and Suppliers. NetEDI’s service has been proven with Suppliers already exchanging live orders and invoices using the PEPPOL standards.
