NetEDI ‘Swing By’ Codestone Customer Day
On the 26th February, NetEDI was pleased to exhibit at the 5th annual Codestone customer day, at Lord’s cricket ground.
Codestone are the leading SAP Business One and SAP ByDesign partner in Europe and this event was designed by the SAP partner community and we were delighted to attend as one of the leading providers of direct integration with the SAP back-office system. This brilliant event featured technological demonstrations, and breakout session on a wide range of topics including digital transformation, artificial intelligence and analytics.
Our team greatly enjoyed meeting the attendees and Codestone staff and explaining how our integration capabilities enable our customers to streamline their supply chain and increase efficiency.
As part of stand, we had a mini golf putting green which went down a treat with attendees – even former English cricketer Darren Gough had a go!
We also gave attendees the chance to win £50 Amazon voucher. All they had to do was swing by the stand and have a go at getting a hole in one. We then put all the contestants’ emails into a draw and we’ve now selected a winner who will be announced on our social channels very soon.
How we integrate with SAP
At NetEDI, we pride ourselves on our market-leading integration capabilities. We have partnered with SAP Business One and SAP ByDesign to enable our mutual customers to integrate both their EDI trading data with their back-office ERP system. Our customers can access their most important business data from one easy-to-use platform and from any device connected to the internet. This provides unparalleled visibility and control of their whole supply chain and empowers our customers to make confident business decisions based on accurate data.
Application Process Interfaces (or APIs) allow this integration to take place. APIs are the means by which two different systems communicate with each other. Every time a service asks you to sign in using your social media accounts, for example, API technology is being used. They allow information to be retrieved from one system and sent to another in real-time.
There are different types of APIs and the kind that we use to integrate with SAP and many other ERP systems are completely private and 100% secure. The two systems can communicate with each other, but no other entity is able to access the information, providing our customers with peace of mind and ease of access to their most important business data in real-time.
