We recently got the great news that we are an approved drop-off point for Rock FM’s Mission Christmas appeal! We’re passionate about supporting good causes at NetEDI, and there’s no better time to do this than at Christmas.
Why Mission Christmas?
It seems that, for most of us, Christmas is a time for seeing family, opening exciting presents and snoozing in front of the TV after eating a little too much. But there are thousands of children who may not wake up to any presents under the tree, as this is a luxury their families simply can’t afford. Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal encourages people to buy an extra present while they’re out and about Christmas shopping and donate it, so that every child, no matter what their background, has the chance to open a present on Christmas morning.
Being a Drop-off Point
Being a drop-off point means that we can officially start collecting presents for the children in our region living in poverty so that they have something to open on Christmas morning. We’ll be putting the word out locally and we look forward to seeing everyone bring their presents in.
Once we’ve got all the presents collected, we’ll drive them down to Mission Christmas HQ in Preston, so they can be distributed out to the children.
Cash for Kids are having their big sorting day on 17th December and they hope to have some special guests joining them throughout the day as well as lots of individuals and businesses who have supported the appeal.
How you can help
