NetEDI are delighted to announce that we’ll once again be an approved drop-off point for Rock FM’s Mission Christmas appeal! NetEDI are passionate about supporting great initiatives with Mission Christmas a charitable cause close to the hearts of all our team members.

Why Mission Christmas?

Mission Christmas is a national appeal run by the charity, Cash For Kids. Each year a regional radio station champions the appeal, with Rock FM representing Lancashire’s arm of the charity. Mission Christmas aims to provide every child in Lancashire with the Christmas they deserve.

Without the appeal, 100s of children across Lancashire would wake up on Christmas morning to no presents through no fault of their own.

The children who benefit from the charity simply want something of their own, regardless of how big or small it is. Many live in poverty, in care or are carers for their parents/family members who aren’t in a position to buy them presents.

Being a Drop-off Point

Being a drop-off point means that we can officially start collecting presents for the children in our region living in poverty so that they have something to open on Christmas morning. We’ll be putting the word out locally and we look forward to seeing everyone bring their presents in.

Once we’ve got all the presents collected, we’ll drive them down to Mission Christmas HQ in Preston, so they can be distributed out to the children. Our team will also be helping out at the Mission Christmas HQ and will be raising money through a number of Christmas events at our NetEDI offices.
