Onboarding Coordinator

The Role


The Onboarding Coordinator operates on behalf of our major customers to engage with their suppliers in order to transition them to automated exchange of key business documents such as orders and invoices. This is not a sales role. The Customer will mandate the requirements to the suppliers and the Onboarding Coordinators are then assigned a group of suppliers to engage with. The role requires excellent organisation and communication skills. The Coordinators are expected to assist suppliers through the various stages of onboarding from initial engagement, confirming requirements and a key contact, through to ensuring final testing has been completed and the supplier has migrated to the live exchange of messages. 



Specific Tasks for This Position Are


Ensuring regular contact with assigned Suppliers


Using Telephone, Email and conference calls to exchange information with contacts


Updating the Supplier Progress Report for weekly reporting


Act as primary point of reference for assigned suppliers


Escalate suppliers failing to engage in the Onboarding activities.


Provide assistance to suppliers working through the Onboarding tasks and requirements


Maintain accurate progress notes within the Onboarding solution

Strong written and verbal communication skills


Excellent telephone manner


Strong time management and organisation skills


Methodical approach to achieving objectives


Experienced with Microsoft office applications


Positive ‘can do’ attitude


Strong customer relationship experience 


Strong team player; ability to partner with sales and other cross-functional organisations
