Business as usual for NetEDI
It’s safe to say that in the past few weeks our lives have changed quite dramatically. The COVID-19 outbreak has presented the whole world with an unprecedented challenge, and the UK is in a state of emergency that it hasn’t faced since wartime. While it’s certainly a difficult time for us all in business, we wanted to reach out to our client base and reassure you all that NetEDI is 100% up and running and taking care of all our customers as usual.
Our whole team is now working from home as many of you will be as well. The transition to remote working has gone very smoothly and we’ve successfully implemented our incident management plan without any issues.
Our platform is completely cloud-based, and our service remains unaffected. Customers are still able to log in from any device connected to the internet, view and control statuses and exchange documents with their trading partners as normal. Our dedicated support team are still here for you, working hard to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. We’ve done our best to future-proof our own business as well as enabling our customers to future proof theirs.
Whether it’s connecting with friends and colleagues via video-chat or checking in on key business data through your NeTIX platform, we’re all feeling the benefit of technology in our lives right now. At NetEDI, we’ve always put innovation in technology first – adopting it as one of our core values – as we understand the importance of being able to keep operations going whatever the situation.
As well as innovation, another one of our values that has been brought to the fore recently is that of family. We’re consciously working to stay in close contact with one another and keep our spirits up during lockdown. Weekly quizzes and sunflower growing competitions definitely help in that respect!
A few members of staff have also become NHS Volunteer Responders and will support the NHS and care sector during the outbreak. This involves doing essential tasks such as, collecting medication and other essentials for those who are self-isolating, driving patients to hospital appointments and providing emotional support for those who are at risk of loneliness. It’s been great to see the whole team pull together and be so adaptable and willing to help in any way that they can.
We sincerely hope that all our customers and their loved ones are safe and well during this time and we look forward to the day when we can welcome you back into our office for a chat and a game of pool. Until that time, we will focus on protecting your business as well as we can, supporting our colleagues and helping in the fight against the virus wherever possible.
