NEAlert

Exception based alerting system

The NEAlert service allows users to configure rules for email alerting based on various criteria.

These alerts are very useful if you expect orders at certain times of the day from certain trading partners and have a short lead-time for delivery, or you need to notify someone that Orders are ready to be processed.

There are two types of alerts:

  • NEAlert – Arrival
  • NEAlert – Non-Arrival

NEAlert – Arrival

The Arrival Alert system is used to notify a user that an EDI batch has been received. This could be used for notifying the Order Processing clerk that Orders have arrived, or for notifying the planning department that a Product Planning report is available.

  • Batch Type – Orders, Sales Reports, Invoices etc.

NEAlert – Non-Arrival

The non-Arrival Alert email can be used to notify someone that an expected EDI batch as not arrived. The options available are:

  • Batch Type – Orders, Sales Reports, Invoices etc.
  • Day of the week
